RIP: Trenton Michael Tunohun

This is one more tragic story of a Mat-Su Valley teen, 17 year old Trenton Michael Tunohun. He was doing what most Valley teens regularly do, party. The drug problem is at epidemic proportions after years of neglect by leaders of the area. The police were called due to a report of an assault where someone pulled a gun. Only alcohol is mentioned, not drugs.

Gatherings like this is typical in the Valley. Often reports go dead, they don't get far with investigations or follow up in the press. Wasilla has an arsonist or arsonists on the loose. After the Wasilla Bible Church fire in December 2008 there has been no significant updates on what progress was made to solve the problem with arsonists, including the church fire. The world is watching and wants to know, what is the problem in this small area? When Sarah Palin was around she had the mega commercial Menard Sports Complex built at great expense to the community. Palin liked the look so much she manipulated zoning and copied many features to a house she claims Todd and a few friends built on week ends. Would alcohol/drug treatment and more money to help the police with investigations been a better investment?

What is happening with these typical recreational outings where teens and adults mingle to party? Will the police have the money to continue an investigation now that the body was found? The death may have been accidental but there are lingering questions as to what led up to the assault. Do the police ignore underage drinking recreation if no one has a gun or draws blood? There are continuing questions about Sherry Johnston's arrest. What next?

On Monday, July 27, 2009, at about 0340 hours, Palmer Police responded to a report of a man with blood on himself, staggering near the Matanuska River Bridge. Palmer Police contacted TROY A. JOHNSON, age 36 of Palmer. JOHNSON stated some juveniles had assaulted him and pulled a firearm on him during a disturbance at the river. Police went to contact the juveniles who were parked on the Palmer side of the Mat River Bridge at the pullout and when the officer arrived on scene four juveniles and one adult, later identified as JODY M. JOHNSON, age 33 of Palmer, fled into the wooded area north and west of the Matanuska River. One of the four juveniles who ran into the woods was TRENTON TUNOHUN, age 17 of Palmer. The following day friends reported that TUNOHUN did not return home and filed a missing person report with Palmer Police.

He hasn't been online since the day he disappeared. Nothing too exciting on his page, though, other than his friends' homophobic and racist comments.

Police say they continue to investigate Tunohun’s disappearance. They are calling people who knew Tunohun and looking into who provided the alcohol that night and where the gun came from.

"Amber Baby and the Officer"

"Amber Baby" was a typical Wasilla teen. My peeps tell me that she was popular and a shining star in the Mat-Su Valley. A cheerleader and one of the best and the brightest, a real success story so far. Now as a young adult she has moved on to college. Unlike some, her story hasn't ended and she is still going strong. We wish her well. Amber Baby graduated from Wasilla High School in 2008. That would have been Bristol Palin's class. Like her other pals they left behind volumes of screen captures documenting teen life in Wasilla. They prefer not to add anymore to these Wasilla historical documents at this time. "Go Palin and Bristol" are still going when it comes to teens. The eyes of the world are on them and there are still more questions than answers. Bristol Palin is the Candies Foundation Ambassador for Abstinence-Only. Sarah Palin supports legislation that will effect unwed pregnant pre teens and teens. Some of the teens could be victims of incest and severely damaged for life. While looking around at the various myspace pages allegedly linked to Bristol Palin, her boyfriend Levi Johnston, Levi’s sister Sadie, and a few others, I came across the tidbit italicized below. Cannot help but wonder if this Amber Ingersoll got her mace’n'video idea from the Florida cheerleader beating case of a few months ago. In any case, seems like there’s lotsa drinking going on among the young folk of Wasilla and when kids drink, they do stupid things. Like sleep with their best friend’s boyfriend and mace their best friend after she’s slept with the boyfriend. Capturing it all on video and posting commentary on it on myspace for all the world to see.

And the world is now looking. Will the media report on this story, too?

On or about 8/8/2007, at approximately 1600 hours, at or near Valdez, in the Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, Amber Ingersol, a minor child, did recklessly cause physical injury, to wit: spray B.W. [Brielle Williams] in the eyes with mace.On 8/8/2007 dispatch received a report of an assault that occurred at approximately 1600 hours. Matthew McCain reported that Brielle Williams was attacked in her dorm room at the Prince William Sound Community College.McCain stated Williams called him from her room and told him she has been assaulted. McCain showed up at the dorm and saw Williams lying on the bathroom floor. Williams gave McCain a description of the girls that assaulted her. From the description McCain identified Amber Ingersol, Jennifer Hayes and Kristin Wilson. McCain told Williams to lock the door behind him and that he was going to the police station.

Sgt. Mott and Officer Metzger responded to #1 Cordova Hall. When Officer Metzger entered the room, he noticed an odor of Oleoresin Capsicum [mace] and could see a torn up photograph lying on the floor. Williams had bloodshot swollen watery eyes, an abrasion with major swelling on her left temple region, and a inch bleeding scrape on her upper lip. Metzger made contact with Williams. She stated that someone knocked on her door and when she answered it, Amber Ingersol, DOB 2/25/90 “later identified by McCain” forcibly entered the room (uninvited) by punching and hitting Williams with her fists. Three other girls entered the room (uninvited) and started yelling at her. One of the girls had a video camera and was taping the assault.

Williams stated she was hit more than twenty times, and was being called names. Williams also stated they Ingersol was asking where Rian was so she could kick her ass. Williams stated that Ingersol kept hitting her and calling her names. Ingersol saw a picture on the wall of Williams and her ex-boyfriend McCain. Ingersol grabbed the picture off the wall, tore it up and threw it on the floor.

Ingersol continued to hit Williams forcing her to retreat into the bedroom. Williams stated all the girls left the room except the girl with the video camera. Mahoney reached out and “maced” Williams in the eyes.

Williams stated that when she was being hit and being “maced” it hurt and she was scared of dying.

Cindy McCain Ain't No Betty Ford, she lawyered up and went to the school of Rush Limbaugh "rehab." The left alone Mrs. Mc was off the deep end and it involved more than stealing from needy children. Not a problem when you have connections, her daddies are always well connected. It is quiet a story. We have a flawed political system if the likes of people like this can even get into a campaign. Her absent hubby McCain is old and he's been around D.C. for decades, he was born into privilege as he was the son of an Admiral who was the son of an Admiral. He learned how to get out of trouble from day one.

Cindy McCain was a well behaved mafia princess that was trained for charity work. All well and good to a point. She showed a deep character flaw with her half sister, Kathleen Hensley Portalski, Cindy wanted all Daddy's fortune and to be an only child. Strange.
Daddy Jim Hensley was a felon and a goon for the mafia.

Gosinki kept detailed journals, it is shocking. You can see some ways they were simpatico with Sarah Palin. Why a cover up would not seem like an obstacle. They may have shared things like drugged children.

Rush Limbaugh and doctor shopping seem tame next to Senator McCain's wheeling and dealing for his wife. Saving his career was what drove him, the wife was the problem he had to clean up. Neither Limbaugh nor Cindy McCain did any time nor did they appear to do any rehab worth mentioning. So Rush Just Wanted a "Rush"

Sherry Johnston gets treated more like the rest of us. She gets a double whammy that a Cindy McCain or Rush Limbaugh can't comprehend. She is hit on as a victim of both the drug war and the health care system under control of Pharma and the insurance industry.

Yesterday Sherry Johnston was in court to plead a relative minor case involving the pain killer, OxyContin. Alaskan blogger GRYPHEN asks, Does this make sense to anybody?
At first, it looked excessively cruel. There are still a million questions but the final terms of sentencing will be November 20, 2009. For now Palmer Superior Court Judge Eric Smith sentenced her to five years, with two suspended and three to serve. They are hoping she will be able to be monitored at home.

As some of you may know Sherry's court date was moved from yesterday to August 19. The reason for this is that until just now the prosecutors REFUSED to make any kind of a deal, because of pressure they were receiving from the Governor. For some reason Palin was pushing for Sherry to receive the maximum sentence. It must be that charitable Christian heart of hers we keep hearing so much about.

I cannot talk about what kind of deal Sherry may get, but the prosecution has become much more reasonable now that Sean Parnell is our Governor.

Revisiting Rush Limbaugh and oxycontin:

According to other sources Rush allegedly coerced and threatened his housekeeper to illegally obtain more than 4500 Oxycontin in 47 days. The implication from her is that he was in no apparent pain and was just a pill popper who liked the feeling (the rush) and didn’t mind risking being addicted.

Allegedly, he had his housekeeper hide the pills under his mattress so his wife wouldn’t find them. Twice he went to a rehab place in New York to detoxify himself. Never was their any mention of physical pain due to his previous surgery by his housekeeper or in his previous statements of the past five years. His physical body language on TV (his jittery, quick, and jerky physical motion) showed a man in no apparent pain. And if he was in such pain, one would have to wonder how he could excel in such a high stress, physically and mentally demanding job, and be at the top of his form.

Small town Wasilla is full of secrets that everybody knows. It is only a matter of time until the finite details emerge. Who will remain silent, who will let the sunshine in and tell their side? Meanwhile, Willow Palin and her peers are in the same situation as her siblings before. The kids aren't to blame for what the adults neglect. It is the norm to do what Willow was doing on the cover of The Star, not a shock if you are familiar with Wasilla. There are thousands of similar photos (2006 through 2008) of Wasilla teens doing it! One day an anthropologist will study the area, especially the teens and preteens. The shocking part is how young many of them look. Willow is among the seasoned old ones.

We aren't holding our breath for the Palin attorney, Thomas V. Van Flein, to threaten another law suit. He was Todd's attorney for the contempt of court charge, it is all procedure for these crooks. Will they pull another Palin and send a letter only to quit on another bogus tactic?

The only source in this Sarah Palin "shattered marriage" story is Mercede Johnston, Levi' sister. She says Sarah and Todd are fighting all the time, and Todd ends up sleeping on the couch. Bristol used to tell Levi that Sarah and Todd would argue over the smallest things, like whose turn it was to do the dishes, and sometimes Todd would take off for days to his cabin in Eureka to get away from all the tension. Let's just remember that Mercede is 17 and is talking about her brother's ex-girlfriend's parents. She also says that after Bristol got pregnant, Todd and Sarah were yelling at each other a lot. Um, yeah. An Alaskan blog The Immoral Minority ran a headline: "Sarah And Todd Palin Are Splitsville." The blog claimed that Sarah had purchased land in Montana and was considering relocating there with the kids. Plus! After a fight, Sarah threw her wedding ring into Lake Lucille.....
